Kannan, the son of Rajaganapthi Gurukkal, Shares on The Avatar's Relationship with His father
Kannan is the son of Rajaganapti Gurukkal, a renowend scholar who also owned a fruit shop inside of the Arunachaleshwara Temple. Rajaganapati Gurukkal was well-known to rhe temple authorities for his vast knowledge in Vedas and Agamas. He would be consulted for auspicious timings and other details for by the temple authorities to schedule grand festivals of the temple.
