Dandapani Desika Pandara Sannadhi - the 22nd Pontiff of the Dharmamukti Swargapuram Kingdom

The Kailaasa Paramparagatha Suvarnapeetha Sarvajnapeetha Swargapuram Samrajyam was established by Paramasiva and revived by Sri la Sri Azhagiya Thiruchittrambala Desika Bandara Sannadhi, who hails from the direct lineage of Paramaśiva, through his guru, Sage Thamba, one of the 18 sages in Hindu History.

The Aadheenam is located in the Tiruvarur district, Nannilam Circle which was a region falling within the reign of the Chera Kingdom or Dynasty.

The 22nd Pontiff of the Swargapuram Aadheenam is the grandson of the 21st Pontiff of the Swargapuram Aadheenam, Sri la Sri Marudhavana Swami, who attained final samadhi on 3 March 1967. On his deathbed, the 21st Pontiff of the Swargapuram Aadheenam foretold that the aadheenam would be restored to its historic glory and the incarnation of Paramashivahiva would ascend the throne and revive the aadheenam.

The 22nd Pontiff, Sri Dandapani, was appointed as the pontiff of the Swargapuram Aadheenam on. 19 May 2015. He immediately ventured to the Adi Kailasa Sarvajnapeetham and requested  the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, whom He recognized as the Incarnation of Paramashiva, to accept the esteemed responsibility as the 23nd Gurumahasannidhanam of the Swargapuram Aadheenam. He then performed all the necessary rituals needed to appoint the next successor, the Incarnation of Paramashiva, of the aadheenam.

Thus, the Supreme Pontiff if Hinduism assumed the role and responsibility of the Kailasa Paramparagatha Suvarnapeetha Sarvajnapeetha Swargapuram Samrajyam and its people.
