Halasyanatha Gurukkal Recalls The Avatar in the Arunachaleshwara Temple

Halasyanatha Gurukkal is a retired priest of the Arunachaleshwara Temple who served Annamalayar when the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism had lived and grew up in Tiruvannamalai. He shares the deep insights into The Avatar’s life as He was closely working and interacting with the shivacharyas of Arunachaleshwara Temple. He recalls how Paramashiva Himself, who had incarnated, had taken the form of a young boy who innocently assisted them while they worshipped His unmoving and eternal form. SPH would help during daily morning and nightpy rituals of waking up the deity of Annalamalayar and putting him to sleep and even assist them in the treasuries of the temple. He lived as one among them and they all enjoyed His presence, as Paramashiva Himself enacting a beautiful leela by gracing those who served Him by serving and assisting them.

In this talk HDH narrates a story which He listened first from Sadhu Om during one of his talks and uses it to teach the context behind completing deeply with the inner terrors, fears and anxiety which live inside us like a small child. Thus HDH teaches to “complete” that small child and mature our cognitions about life and the Universe. https://nithyanandapedia.org/wiki/January_30_2014
