Historic Day for Shrikailasa | Remembering the Inauguration of Shrikailasa in Thiruchengode Aadheenam
For the nation of ShriKailasa , April 14 is an even more auspicious day, celebrated as the inauguration of the first ever aadheenam established by His Divine Holiness Nithyananda Paramashivam – ShriKailasa in Thiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, South India.
After His Avataric Realization in 2000, His Divine Holiness began intensely and fervorously making the sathyasankalpa (conscious will) for reviving ShriKailasa through a series of elaborate and powerful rituals. HDH conducted the Chandi Homa, one of the most sacred and most complicated rituals worshipping the Divine Feminine, entirely by Himself. The Chandi Homa involves chanting the 700 verse Devi Mahatyam a total of eleven times and invoking the energy of Chandi (who is the Divine Mother in her most ferocious and powerful form) in the fire. The set-up of the ritual includes sourcing rare herbs and produce for the sacred offerings to Devi Chandi. It is agreed upon among the priests of the highest order that the Chandi Homa is the most powerful ritual which can be conducted.
His Divine Holiness conducted this ritual for at least two known events in November 2000 and January 2001. HDH then carried on this strong will into the inauguration of the Thiruchengode aadheenam on April 14, 2001.
At around this time, the few devotees who started becoming enamored by Him as the Incarnation of Paramashiva today remember how continuously HDH would be healing and enriching others around Him. Day by day, already, His calendar would be booked with talks, meetings, healing sessions in hospitals or conducting of other rituals. Witnesses also remember how He boldly manifested all kinds of superconscious capabilities such as materialization of deities, precious stones, vibhuti or kumkum. He endlessly served anyone who came in His pathway, blessing them with whatever they want or giving them a newfound hope for their life just by giving them a powerful cognition. Slowly, just by His sheer dedication to serving others, people began to continuously hear about the powerful young Avatar in Thiruchengode and from this time itself, the lines for His Darshan began to extend longer and longer.
Even before completing the age of 23, HDH established the legal entity for what was then signed as Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetham, out of reverence for the great enlightened being Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, a month before its grand inauguration and began the for the first ever temple and aadheenam of ShriKailasa. HDH Himself built the first ever construction brick by brick, thatch roof and had a sign for Ramakrishna Dhyanapeetham positioned on it.
Almost two decades later, the passionate ardor of His sathyasankalpa for reviving ShriKailasa is felt by 30 million gratefull devotees all over the world. Today, Shrikailasa serves the 2 billion Hindus all over the world by protecting the heritage of Sanatana Hindu Dharma and reviving the indigenous and spiritual practices of our tradition which were almost lost.

TODAY THAT ASHRAM WAS FORMALLY INAUGURATED 2001 APRIL 14. YOU CAN SEE THE PHOTOGRAPH WITH MY OWN HANDWRITING NOT TO FORGET THE DATE I MYSELF RECORDED IN THE NAME OF RAMAKRISHNA DHYANAPEETAM. THAT WAS THE FIRST ASHRAM I CREATED ON THE BANKS OF KAVERI IN ERODE. IF YOU SEE ACTUALLY, THE SANGHA STARTED ON APRIL 14TH 2001. 2003 WE BECAME MORE AN ORGANIZATION IN BANGALORE BIDADI BUT IN 2001 APRIL 14 WAS THE REAL BEGINNING I STARTED MY PUBLIC LIFE.
IT WAS 2001 APRIL 14 THAT WAS THE FIRST MORNING I TIED THE TURBAN, AFTER A LONG TIME AFTER MY WANDERING AND REALIZED THE AVATARIC MISSION I WAS NOT ABLE TO TIE THE TURBAN BECAUSE THE HEAD WAS ALWAYS FEELING HEAVY. TYING THE TURBAN WAS NOT POSSIBLE SO IT WAS APRIL 14 2001 I WAS SETTLED INTO THE BODY MORE COMFORTABLE AND TIED THE TURBAN AND DECIDED “COME ON LET’S START” AND 14 YEARS OVER 15TH YEAR BEGINNING. TODAY IS SAME DAY WE STARTED THE OHIO AADHEENAM.
