Isakki Mahamunivar

Mathaji Vibhutananda Puri

I had a deep relationship with Vibhutananda Puri; that relationship that was a big turning point in My life. She is the one who caused a huge impact on My life.

Her birth itself is a beautiful story. There was a Seshadri Swamigal in Tiruvannamalai. He was a very great Paramahaṃsa. Vibhutananda Puri’s mother was without children. Even the one or two kids who were born to her died. She went and fell at the feet of Seshadri Swamigal and cried. He immediately took some mud that was next to him and gave it to her. She had so much devotion, she simply ate it! The moment she ate it, she conceived! The child that was born from the conception was Vibhutananda Puri.

Herbal diet for grasping profound truths

I have darśan of Subrahmaṇya, Lord of the Spiritual Alchemy Science

Subrahmaṇya is the lord of the spiritual alchemy science. His whole birth happened as a spiritual alchemy. He is the Lord of the Spiritual Alchemy science. Subrahmanya himself appeared before The Avatār and delivered these truths!

I go begging in the streets

If you understand this one truth of surrender to Guruvāk, the amount of time you are wasting in your life without moving towards your goal will be cut by 80%.

Darśan of Paraśakti

Basically I am Myself a shākta, a Mother worshipper.

My spiritual practice started only as a shākta – in the Shakta tradition. The first formal initiation I had was of the Sri Vidya tradition, Sri Vidya parampara. I used to dress with all the paraphernalia and everything, to practice Sri Vidya. In the West, they use a very abusive word called cross-dressing, which is not right, but in the East it is one of the powerful manifestations of completion. In the Sri Vidya sampradaya, it is the reverence, the ultimate honor, shown to Adiśakti.

Darśan of Sri Cakra and Sri Vidya Pūjā

At the age of nine, in the Devi sannidhi (shrine) of My native place, I had the darśan of this Sri Cakra.

It was during Navaratri, maybe the second or third night of Navaratri, that I had the darśan of this Sri Cakra. Of course, I was not aware that it was Sri Cakra, I was a nine-year-old boy. Suddenly I saw a beautiful form, a shining geometrical form in the temple that seemed like a yantra

1994 | This photograph of The Avatār was organised to be taken by His Vedānta Guru Mātā Vibhutānandapuri (also called Mātāji Kuppammāl).

During His polytechnic studies, He came down to Tiruvannamalai when in His final year. At that time through an official letter of initiation, she adopted Him as her only disciple and successor in the Arunācala lineage, conferring upon Him the title ‘Brahmasukhi’.

She also organised to take a series of pictures such as this one.

You can see, there is a conch and kamandalu (water pot) to The Avatār’s left and a wooden staff to His right, all of which were given by her as the traditional items that are handed over alongwith the official induction as successor into the lineage.

During initiation, a few traditional items are given to the disciple as part of the coronation. The staff that The Avatār is holding is one of the items which is given to aid in the ‘spiritual wandering lifestyle’ useful for various purposes
